About

History

Jigsaw Accounting was established in 2008 by Joanne McCauley from an existing practice in Goulburn. The practice has grown in size since 2008, with many of our clients recommending us to their friends. In 2014 a second office was opened in Winston Hills to cater for our ever-growing Sydney client base, and 2015 saw the opening of the third office, within Chamberlains Law Firm, in Canberra. In early 2017, Winston Hills is expanding into new, larger, premises and late 2017 Canberra will have its own offices in Braddon.

Customer Service

We pride ourselves on our customer service. We commit to returning your call within 1 business day, and if we haven’t done so, ask you to call again. You should not have to wait to speak to an accountant. We understand your taxes are important, so we treat you the way we would like to be treated.

Fees

We charge reasonable prices and provide a quality service. Our time is precious so we don’t work for free. Combined, we have spent many years training, so we think our time is well worth the fees we charge. We are happy to discuss fees and are open and honest in what we charge by providing comprehensive price lists and fixed fee agreements.

Experience

Tax is ever changing, so it is not just experience that is important, it is our commitment to ongoing training that gives the assurance we know what we are talking about. Our experience also goes beyond preparing tax returns, so we can advise with real experience in real life situations.

Teamwork

We like to work as a team. It is not practical to think that all work is done by a Partner, however all work is checked by a Partner. With qualified staff and a mentoring program for each staff member, you can rest assured that your work is in safe hands.

Independence

We are happy to recommend services provided by business colleagues, but we commit to being impartial. We do not get kickbacks, and will never recommend a service to you based on what we will get out of it. We owe a duty of care to our clients to do what is best for them, not what is best for us.
